Join us for our monthly luncheon with the guest speaker, Montgomery County Attorney B.D. Griffin.

B.D. Griffin was appointed the Montgomery County Attorney on March 19, 2019, and was elected as County Attorney in November 2020. He joined the County Attorney’s Office on January 1, 2013, as Chief of the Real Property Section and named the First Assistant in 2015. B.D. is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and was admitted to the Texas bar in 1984. He is also admitted to practice before several United States District Courts in Texas and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
B.D. Griffin has been board certified in Commercial Real Estate Law and Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1997. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, the Litigation Section and Government Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. He received his Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law in 1983 (summa cum laude) and his undergraduate degree from Trinity University (1979, B.M. cum laude). He served as President of the Montgomery County Bar Association in its 1994-95 term.
B.D. is married to Chevis Griffin and they live in the Woodforest subdivision. His hobbies include golf, composing music, and playing the piano and organ.
