We Proudly Support our Community

Caring for America Events

Republican women always step forward when they see an area that needs assistance, whether it is hands-on or through donations of needed food or other commodities. The TWRW Caring for America Committee compiles a comprehensive list of activities to keep our communities strong.

TWRW Food Bank Volunteer Day

A heartfelt thank you to all of TWRW volunteers who were able to assist at the MoCo Food Bank. Collectively, we sorted and boxed 3,160lbs
of food, which equals 2,633 meals for our neighbors facing food insecurity.

Did You Know?

A monthly donation to the MoCo Food Bank of $10 = 600 meals a year? Our Food Bank has 80 partner agencies that help provide meals for MoCo senior citizens, families, individuals and the backpack buddy program. For more information about our local food bank, ways to get involved & to donate visit www.mcfoodbank.org

USO Boredom Buster Bags Project

Thanks to our members, we were able to assemble 50 "boredom buster bags" to donate to the USO Center at IAH. These bags will be available for children of our service members to take and enjoy on the airplane and during their travels. April is "Month of the Military Child" and we were so thrilled to provide these bags for the kiddos of our nation's men and women in uniform. A special thank you to the Gagnon family for their donation to this specific project, too. For more information about Month of the Military Child you can visit their website here.

Caring for America Scholarship Program

The members of TWRW believe that our youth are the future of our country. We are committed to investing in them to protect America’s future. We are pleased to announce have provided scholarships to a graduating senior attending the following schools: Oak Ridge High School, College Park High School or The Woodlands High School. Recipients chosen displayed leadership, integrity and patriotism. They continue to support and follow the conservative ideals that respect the US Constitution and support freedom of speech, religion and press. We will share more of these wonderful students on our social media platforms.

We are so happy that there are many young patriotic leaders out there who believe in the same values as TWRW. And as a commitment to protect America's future while nurturing the present, we are pleased to announce that Konner Earnest from Woodlands High School, and Christy Lopez from College Park High School, are both winners of our scholarship programs. Their future triumphs will materialize American hopes and ideals, and we will support them all through it.
